LA Eco Arts Tour - Kick Off

The LA Eco Arts Tour is a ten-venue city-wide neighborhood tour of theater, arts and cultural facilities, featuring noted and local artists, city departments and private vendors providing education and publications on energy conservation, efficiency and savings designed to promote public awareness and empower the public, local business and the entire LA community to think "green", while supporting Mayor Antonio R. Villarigosa's efforts to make Los Angeles the greenest city in America. The first of these events is March 6, 2010 from 1 - 3pm at:

Green Drinks events are very simple, informal, unstructured, and self organizing. We bring together the huge LA environmental community and have fun doing it!

Compost Workshop

Learn to turn leaves, grass and food scraps into nutrient rich soil in this free compost workshop for Burbank residents. It's fun for the whole family and compost bins are free. One lucky person will also win a rake made from recycled truck tires. Please call Burbank Recycle Center to RSVP (818) 238-3900.
